Terms & Conditions for Grow with Confidence Tutoring

 

1. Booking & Scheduling

Lessons are scheduled in advance at a mutually agreed time.Lessons are expected to be at the timetabled date and time during term-time.

School holiday sessions must be arranged in advance according to the student’s preference.

 

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Tutor Cancellations: If the tutor cancels a lesson, a rescheduled session will be offered. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be given.

Student Cancellations: If the student cancels, we will attempt to reschedule. An online lesson may be offered as an alternative. If rescheduling or an online lesson is not possible, no refund will be provided.

 

3. Payment Terms

Parents/carers agree to pay the agreed hourly fee.

Payment must be made one month in advance.

Invoices will be sent, and payment must be made by the due date via bank transfer.

Late payments may result in suspension of lessons until payment is received.

 

4. Conduct & Expectations

Students are expected to be prepared for lessons and engage fully.

If a student is late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time.

Disruptive behaviour may result in termination of lessons without refund.

 

5. Online Lessons

If lessons are conducted online, it is the responsibility of the student/parent to ensure a stable internet connection.

If technical issues occur on the tutor’s end, a reschedule will be offered.

Children should be dressed appropriately for online lessons. 

Cameras and microphones do not need to be on but will allow for optimum engagement.

 

6. Confidentiality & Data Protection

All personal information will be kept confidential and used only for tutoring purposes.

 

7. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate tutoring with one month’s notice.

Refunds will not be given for lessons already paid for but not attended due to student withdrawal.
